Another event under the “Underground” label by the “Bruits de la Cave” people in Hannover brought two bands from Paris to the stage of the famous “B\u00e9i Ch\u00e9z Heinz” in the Lower Saxon state capital.<\/p>\n

Up first were NAMID’A<\/a>, a fairly ynew band consisting of Jean-Marc Bucher, formerly guitarist of Wallenberg whose singer sadly passed away last year, and vocalist Chlo\u00e9. Their style is somewhere between French postpunk and indie pop, and although they only played very few gigs so far they played a great show.<\/p>\n

Second band of the evenening were JE T’AIME<\/a>, whose performance almost had to be cancelled since singer Daniel broke his left ankle only a day before. So he had to sit down for the gig, which also made him choose a hospital gown as stage outfit. Nevertheless, he and his bandmates Gilles (guitar) and Zo\u00e9 (bass, keyboards) played a fantastic and fun set and people were dancing all around.<\/p>\n

I was honoured to have been invited to play a few tunes between and after the bands, my first proper club DJing in over 14 months – and that felt great again!<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/h3>\n

The “Bruits de la Cave” nights are always great fun with cool bands, and this was no exception – I’m sure there will be more to come.<\/p>\n
